Collection: Max Eve

Max's creative drive started early in childhood as he spent spare moments taking guitar lessons and illustrating his own comic books. Those humble early years molded him into the touring musician and freelance artist he is today. A true music lover, he regards modern legends like John Petrucci and Joe Satriani as his primary influences. 

Just two years after high school, Max released his 2010 instrumental album "Vertigo", which was recorded at Avatar studios and featured Morgan Rose (Sevendust) and Evan Diprima (Royal Thunder, Stalone) on drums. This album earned Max a place in the Atlanta music scene and cemented his passion for progressive music. In 2012, Max released his EP "Lucid Listening", featuring his acoustic flamenco and jazz influenced chops. He joined the Atlanta-based metal band Halcyon Way in 2012 and has played on tours with them in 21 countries and 32 states with more to come. In 2019 he released "Plethora" with other talented artists on vocals and in 2020 Max helped found the progressive rock band Coda Nova with Atlanta musicians Jesse Carlson, Patrick Egan and Joshua Oakes. The band will be releasing their first album soon!

As a guitar teacher, Max has instructed over 150 students, several who have gone on to fruitful musical careers of their own, including popular lo-fi artist Peachy! Max also performs close to 90 solo gigs a year in and around Lawrenceville, Georgia. Max extended his musical talents beyond the limelight of the stage and teaching to help others by volunteering to play acoustic guitar for patients at Emory Winship Cancer Center in Atlanta. Having felt an uplifting impact from playing for the sick, Max became a Music For Healing & Transition Program (MHTP) Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) in 2019. He now plays for patients and staff weekly at multiple Metro Atlanta hospitals.

In addition to music, Max is an accomplished visual artist. He works in many styles, mediums and subjects with a focus on music, dreamscapes and pop culture. His canvas paintings have been displayed in multiple local venues and galleries and you can find several of his large scale chalk art all over the Metro Atlanta area, including  Monkey Wrench Brewing, Normaltown Brewing Company, both Moonshiners locations, Johnny's Pizza Sugarloaf and Grayson and others.
