The Dizzy Gypsy Holiday Art Tree

This year's 15th Annual Festival of Trees Canned Food and Toy Drive at Aurora Theatre on the Lawrenceville Square is extra special as the first Festival in the beautiful, brand new Lawrenceville Arts Center! And this year, The Dizzy Gypsy's tree is extra special, too, because YOU get to decorate it.

We have cute, teeny tiny little 3X3 inch canvases ready to hang on the tree. They just need YOUR art! Here's how it works:

Step 1: Get a blank canvas and get creative! You can paint on it, draw on it, glue a collage on it or any kind of art medium you like. To get a canvas, just take a blank one off the Dizzy Gypsy Christmas tree at the Lawrenceville Arts Center or email auraleigh@dizzygyspy.org.

Step 2: Be sure to write your name on the tag. Every artist should sign their work!

Step 3: Bring your beautiful new art back to the Lawrenceville Arts Center, along with a non-perishable food item or new, unwrapped toy, at 125 North Clayton Street to hang your ornament and and place your donation under the PINK Dizzy Gypsy Christmas tree, located front and center in the Arts Center's Mary Kistner Gallery.

The Arts Center is open to drop off your ornament and donations during Box Office hours Tuesday-Friday 11AM – 5PM, Saturday noon to 5PM and Sunday for performances.

And for fun, take a pic of your beautiful new art and tag it on social media with #DizzyGypsyArtTree. We'll share it for the world to see and celebrate your work and your donation to help local member of our community in need.

Donated toys will be divided equally between Lawrenceville Boys and Girls Club and the Festival of Trees SW in Partnership with B.L.A.C.T. (Black Leaders Advocating for Cultural Theatre), Operation Santa Paws for Pets, while non-perishable items will be sent to the Lawrenceville Co-Op.
